Terms of Use

Last updated: 5 September 2026

The simple version: Mathondu gives you the tools to create and run your presence online. If you use Mathondu to sell something, you are responsible for what you sell and how you serve your customer. We provide the platform; we aren't the seller of your products or services.

The sections below contain the full Terms of Use.

1. What Mathondu is

Mathondu is a platform that helps people and businesses create an online presence for products, services, catering, communities, content and other supported uses.

Mathondu provides the technology. The person or business that creates a Mathondu page is responsible for what they publish, offer or sell through it.

When a business sells goods or services through Mathondu, that business — not Mathondu — is responsible for the products or services, prices, availability, fulfilment, taxes, returns and customer support, unless we expressly state otherwise for a particular Mathondu service.

Users who offer or sell goods or services are also subject to our Merchant / Seller Terms.

2. Acceptance

By accessing or using Mathondu, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Mathondu.

3. Eligibility and account security

You must be able to form a binding contract under applicable law to create or operate a Mathondu account or presence. You are responsible for access to your account (including phone verification, admin access and devices you use) and for activity that occurs under your account, except where caused by our breach or systems compromise beyond your reasonable control.

4. No general verification or endorsement

Mathondu does not generally verify or endorse every business, organization, listing, product, service or piece of content published by users. A presence on Mathondu does not by itself mean that Mathondu recommends, certifies or guarantees that user or their offerings.

Where Mathondu Checkout or a payment partner requires KYC or similar checks, those checks are for payment compliance and do not amount to a general endorsement of the Merchant or their offerings.

5. Your content

You are responsible for content you upload or publish through Mathondu, including names, logos, photos, product images, descriptions, posts and other material.

You must have the rights or permission necessary to use that content.

You give Mathondu the limited permission necessary to host, process, resize, display and otherwise use that content to operate the features you choose.

You must not use Mathondu to publish unlawful, fraudulent, infringing, deceptive, abusive or otherwise prohibited content.

6. AI features

Mathondu may offer optional AI features that help create or edit pages, listings, descriptions, images, replies and other content, or help customers navigate and interact with a Mathondu page.

AI output can be incomplete or incorrect. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before relying on or publishing it, particularly prices, product details, availability, claims and other information about your business.

Do not rely on Mathondu AI for professional, legal, medical, financial or other high-stakes advice.

Some AI features use Mathondu credits. The applicable credit cost is shown before or when the feature is used. See Pricing.

7. Acceptable use

You must not use Mathondu to:

We may remove content or restrict access where we reasonably believe these Terms or the law have been violated.

8. Maps, addresses and delivery estimates

Location, mapping, distance and delivery information may rely on customer input or third-party mapping services. Locations and distances may be approximate and do not guarantee delivery availability, time or price.

9. Third-party services and connected channels

Mathondu may let you use or connect third-party services such as WhatsApp, Meta services, maps, payment providers and delivery services.

Your use of those services may also be subject to the third party's own terms and policies. Availability of a third-party integration is not guaranteed and may change if the provider changes or restricts its services.

Mathondu is not affiliated with or endorsed by those third parties unless expressly stated otherwise. How we handle data from connected channels is described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Merchant sales and Mathondu purchases

There are two different types of transactions on Mathondu. Do not mix them up.

Merchant transactions. When a customer purchases goods or services from a business using Mathondu, the transaction is between the customer and that business unless expressly stated otherwise. For direct payment methods provided by the business, such as its own UPI or QR, Mathondu does not collect or verify that payment. The business is responsible for taxes, fulfilment and customer support for those sales.

Mathondu purchases. Separately, users may purchase credits or other paid Mathondu features. These are purchases of platform services from Mathondu and are separate from customer purchases from businesses using Mathondu. They may be processed through a payment partner.

11. Credits

Credits are a prepaid balance for optional platform features (such as AI tools and other premium extras we describe before you spend). Credits are not cash, are not transferable between unrelated accounts, and do not purchase a Merchant's goods or services for customers.

Prices and what credits unlock are shown before you pay or spend. Spends are recorded in your wallet ledger in admin (Settings → Credits) where available.

Purchased credits do not expire while the applicable Mathondu account remains active, unless we notify you otherwise as required by law. Promotional or starter credits may have separate conditions. If we discontinue the credits feature, we will provide reasonable notice and handle unused purchased credits as required by law or as we then disclose.

We only add purchased credits after the payment partner confirms success. A failed or cancelled charge does not add credits. If money was debited but credits were not applied due to a platform error, contact us via Contact with the transaction reference and we will correct the wallet or refund as appropriate once verified.

12. Mathondu Checkout

Mathondu may offer an optional integrated checkout through one or more payment partners. Mathondu Checkout is not required to use Mathondu. Businesses may continue using supported direct payment or order methods where available.

If a business enables Mathondu Checkout, additional Merchant / Seller Terms, payment-partner terms, KYC requirements, fees, refund rules and settlement conditions may apply. These will be presented before the business enables the service.

13. Refunds and cancellations

Refunds, returns and cancellations for Merchant transactions are primarily between the customer and the Merchant. Merchants may set their own return, refund and cancellation policies subject to applicable law.

For Mathondu credit-pack purchases: refunds of unused credit purchases follow our payment partner's rules and any refund policy we state at checkout. Completed credit spends on features are generally non-refundable unless required by applicable law.

14. Fees and changes

Some Mathondu features are free and others may require credits, fees or a paid plan. Any applicable charge will be disclosed before purchase or use. See Pricing.

We may change our features or pricing from time to time. Where appropriate or required by law, we will provide notice of material changes.

15. Intellectual property

Mathondu software, branding and documentation are owned by Inbenne Technologies or its licensors. You retain ownership of content you create or upload, subject to the limited license in Section 5.

16. Availability

We aim to keep Mathondu available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Features may change, and third-party integrations may be unavailable at times.

17. Termination

You may stop using Mathondu at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, security risk, legal requests or to protect users and the platform. Provisions that by nature should survive (including content responsibility, fees owed, disclaimers and liability limits) survive termination.

18. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mathondu is provided on an “as available” basis without warranties of uninterrupted availability, fitness for a particular purpose or that user content or AI output will be accurate or complete.

19. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Mathondu and Inbenne Technologies are not liable for Merchant–Customer disputes, fulfilment failures, third-party service outages, or losses arising from content you publish (including AI-assisted content you choose to publish). Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law.

20. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mathondu and Inbenne Technologies against claims and reasonable costs arising from your content, your offerings or sales, your use of Mathondu, or your breach of these Terms — except to the extent caused by our wilful misconduct.

21. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by an updated “Last updated” date and, where appropriate or required, by additional notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.

22. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Udupi / Karnataka shall have jurisdiction, subject to applicable law.
